Title: Painting of the Inside walls of Drati Khangtsen Assembly Hall.
A Background:-
Drati Khangtsen has presently monks from different places living together in the Khangtsen. The 350 monks in the Khangtsen varies from the young age novices to the senior geshes and lamas. The resident monks, novices and teachers, they all stay in the monastery teaching and learning the Buddha Dharma and practicing the dharma.
The monks are provided free accommodation, robes, books and a resident teacher who look after his studies and everything. The students feel like their homes here and do their studies in a very conducive environment.
B Problem statement:-
- The main Temple/ Assembly Hall of the Drati Khangtsen has been built since 8 years back. During that time due to the heavy cost on the building of the Main Temple, there was a huge financial difficulty and constraints upon the Drati Khangtsen. The inside of the temple/ assembly hall has since then been only put the wall puty and left as it is. No painting has been done inside the Temple.
- As the painting of the outside has been done recently and everything looks fresh and clean outside, the inside of the temple looks faded and worn out.
C The benefit of the project:-
- Painting of the inside of the Temple will help in the maintainance of wall and keep it afresh.
- It will brighten up the dull and faded looks of the old wall putty and give a new look.
- It will also help in the maintainance of the wall with filling pores if any and taking care of the walls.
- Before the teachings of the Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche we would be able to make the Drati Khangtsen main Temple clean and bright.

This project will help the Drati Khangtsen in finally painting the interior walls of the Main Temple/ Assembly Hall of the Drati Khangtsen since it was built 8 years ago. We sincerely appeal any individual contributors, organizations to generously contribute towards this Project. Any amount of donation towards this project is welcome and proper receipt will be issued. It will directly benefit in maintaining the Drati Khangtsen main prayer Hall/ Main Temple. It will also be helpful in keeping the Main Temple clean and fresh before the start of the Teachings of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche at Drati Khangtsen.

DONATION FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THE BOOKS OF DRATI LIBRARY.
We are able to complete the project of making the Drati Khangtsen Library Project last year with the kind support from our sponsors. Since we have all the monks coming to the Library for reading the books. We are in need of widening the collection of the books for the reading purpose of the small novices to the learned Geshes. If we are able to acquire more books for the Khangtsen Library than it will be helpful in enhancing the knowledge of the monk students and also be helpful for the monks in their studies with the availability of references in the Drati Khangtsen Library.
